Christy has vast experience within Higher Education, leading institutions, developing top performing national and international departments, and growing key partnerships and academic collaborations whilst supporting widening participation and social mobility.
As the Provost of LCIBS, Christy is committed to ensuring success and innovation in learning. Christy is focused on elevating the student experience by transforming learning using digital learning platforms, innovative active learning practices and providing highly specialised programmes.
Christy has a MA in International Business and BA in European Business, Administration and Languages. Alongside other membership, Christy is a Senior Fellow of the HEA and a Fellow and Chartering Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Head of Foundation and Professional Courses
Joanna has an extensive background in academic management, having held previous roles as a Head of Centre, Course Director and Director of Studies in schools. She is experienced in working in educational contexts both in the UK and abroad, something which has shaped her outlook on educational practices.
Joanna holds a Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults, has a BA in English Philosophy and MSC in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
As the Head of Centre for Foundation and Professional Courses, Joanna is responsible for the oversight of the Foundation Year courses, ensuring they meet exceptionally high standards in teaching. Additionally, Joanna is responsible for English programmes and English Language proficiency testing.
Dr. Andrew Redford
Head of Quality and Registry
Following the completion of his PhD, Andrew has worked in a number of UK higher education institutions within academic administration. He has specialised in quality assurance, governance and research administration.
As the Head of Quality and Registry, Andrew is responsible for the operation and development of the student Registry function at the College as well as quality assurance policy and process and College governance.
Head of Student Services
Dominika has over ten years’ experience within higher education in both teaching & learning and in leading student service teams. She is driven to make a real difference to the student experience through the promotion of social mobility and diversity in education.
Dominika is an experienced lecturer and programme leader. She is a Fellow of the HEA and has achieved a Masters in Environmental Science and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Educational Practice.
As Head of Student Services, Dominika is focused on providing a service which enhances the student experience in areas such as general welfare, academic support, finance, citizenship and library services.
Head of Professional Services
Philiph is an experienced senior manager within Higher Education. Philiph has also vast experience working within industry, spanning ten countries and three continents in areas such as training, manufacturing, retail, airline, software development.
As the Head of Professional Services Philiph oversees Facilities, IT, Recruitment and Finance.
Philiph has a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and a MSc in Finance and Accounting.
Head of Academic Operations
Grace is an experienced senior manager within Higher Education, having led on educational strategy development and implementation as well as managing large-scale curriculum-wide projects.
As the Head of Academic Operations, her role is focused on implementing processes and enhancing operations in order to better the student experience.
Grace is an experienced Lecturer who has designed and delivered across work-based learning and management subject areas. She is a Fellow of the HEA and has achieved a Masters in Educational Leadership and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Educational Practice.
Quality and Admissions Manager
Annette is an experienced leader within Higher Education who is passionate about creating opportunities that contribute to improving the life chances and opportunities of individuals.
Annette is also an experienced lecturer who has delivered across Marketing, Business Management and Personal Development subject areas. She is a fellow of the HEA, and has achieved a BSc in Business Management, PG Diploma in Professional Leadership and PG Certificate in Higher Education Practice.
As Admissions and Quality Manager, Annette is responsible for the coordination and admission of prospective students; and the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and policies, ensuring compliance across the College.
Facilities and IT Operations Coordinator
Tim is the Facilities and IT Operations Coordinator for LCIB. He is responsible for providing IT and facilities support to staff and students based in the London campus. Tim has worked for LCIBS for the past 8 years. Prior to that worked in the private education sector for 7 years.
Maria Edna Russo Mota
Student Recruitment Officer
Maria has experience in advertising and marketing, and throughout her career she has been involved in working in areas including TV channels and political campaigns.
As a student recruitment officer, Maria is responsible for developing marketing and communications campaigns, recruiting new students, providing information about all courses offered and organizing events such as open days.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce Marketing Management, a PG Diploma in Management: Sport Management and FAI C Coaching Licence.
In his role as student recruitment officer, Michael is involved in development of strategy and implementation of school outreach programmes across London.
Michael focuses on promoting Higher Education through workshops to inspire others to take their next steps in their education pathway.
Dora is an experienced manager within Higher Education. In her role as Academic Administrator, Dora is responsible for overseeing academic operations, planning and administration.
Dora holds an MA in European Culture and Thought and a BA in Cultural Studies.
Receptionist & PA to the Provost
Nikki holds a Masters’ in Religious Studies and a Bachelors' in Theological Studies.
In her role as Receptionist and PA to the Provost, Nikki is responsible for a range of key tasks which support both students and staff.
Student Finance Officer
Sophie has experience within Higher Education specialising in providing advice and guidance regarding student finance matters.
At LCIBS, Sophie works within the Student Services Department and is responsible for providing information, advice and guidance to students within student finance related areas.
Dr Giles Russell
Dr Giles Russell is an entrepreneur, educator and consultant. Giles began his career as a scientist and mathematician. He has worked in a variety of sectors, including working in an advisory position to the UK and other governments.
Giles has an extensive experience teaching in various Higher Education Institutions and is an Associate Senior Lecturer at LCIBS. Giles holds a BSc in Mathematics and Physics a PhD in Chemical Engineering and an EMBA (Distinction).
Dan is an experienced Senior Lecturer within Higher Education. Dan has also vast experience within Further Education, Business Management, Strategic Planning and Assessment.
Dan holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Educational Practice, MBA specialising in Marketing and Change Management, and holds a Fellowship of the HEA and is a member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Alex’s expertise includes analysing complex matters, accountancy and financial management, coaching and leadership and lecturing within Higher Education.
Alex is a dynamic professional lecturer putting students at the heart of teaching, with over 20 years’ experience working with students at highest levels. Alex is adept at understanding student needs, translating an institution’s desire to meet learners’ aspirations, and focusing on learners of all abilities without discrimination and within a cross-cultural context.
